Welcome to Room 209,

 

           I am originally from Lock Haven, PA, where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.  I received my Masters in Elementary Education from DeSales University.  Before teaching at Orefield Middle School, I taught fifth-grade at Jaindl Elementary and fourth-grade in the Allentown School District.  My wife of 15  years teaches 7th & 8th-grade health at Southern Lehigh Middle School, and we have two wonderful daughters, Makayla who will be going into sixth-grade and Madison who will be going into third-grade. I love to teach and learn new things with my students, and I am looking forward to having you be apart of our classroom.

 

        Sixth-grade students will achieve much this year regarding academic growth, greater self-confidence, and improved social skills. I am looking forward to getting to know both you and your child this year. Excellent communication between parent, teacher, and student is essential for your child’s academic growth.  I believe that communication between the parent and teacher is an integral part of the learning process.
